WE BELIEVE

THE BIBLE

We believe that the Bible is God's Word to the world and as such is the final authority for faith and life.

GOD

We believe in the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) revealed in Scripture and confessed in the Apostles' Creed, the God who is love.
John 3:16 and Matthew 28:19
 

PEOPLE

We believe that God created people uniquely in his image, however sin has marred that image, broken our relationship with our creator, and has spread to all humanity. God wants to restore all people into a right and everlasting relationship with him through Jesus.
Genesis 1:27, Romans 5:12 and 2 Corinthians 5:16-19
 

JESUS

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He is our Lord and Savior, who came in love to take the punishment for our sin in his death and rose again to new life to redeem us from sin so that we may live in His Kingdom forever.
Colossians 2:9 and 1 Timothy 2:5
 

YOU

We believe that God invites you to believe in Jesus as your Savior and to become God‘s child through Baptism.
Acts 2:38-39 and Acts 16:31
 

US

We believe that God has empowered our congregation with "faith that works through love."
1 John 4:10-12 and Galatians 5:6

GRACE

We believe that God is active in our lives giving his grace through his Word, through Baptism, and through the Lord's Supper.
Isaiah 55:11, 1 Peter 3:21, and Matthew 26:26-28
